SNAP Excel Award 2007/8
For two years in a row, SPIE Newsroom has won Society of National Association Publishing's EXCEL Awards for Website Editorial Content: 2007 Bronze, 2008 Silver. Form & Content's Managing Director, Sunny Bains, attended the banquet in Washington, DC, to pick up the prize in 2007.

Bains said that it meant a lot to her that SPIE Newsroom had been honored in this way. "Other award winners included the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and the American Meteorological Society, so we're in excellent company. I'm really gratified that SPIE, and Form & Content's approach to online technical content, have been vindicated. Our editors have worked with great skill and dedication to achieve this."
